New Covent Garden Market Vitrine Art Commission 2021

The New Covent Garden Market Vitrine Art Commission was a paid commission for a 20m long public art space on Nine Elms Lane. The mission of the mural was to build a closer relationship between the market and Londoners by putting the spotlight on the wonderful produce that makes the market so renowned. With a strong focus on diversity both that of the food, produce and people who visit the market; this design centres around the stories and voices of the traders who make New Covent Market what it is today. This shortlisted piece captures the hustle and vibrancy of the market in Nine Elms.
